What is The Empowerment Grant?
CASA's Empowerment Grant Program provides financial assistance to eligible youth who have been involved in the juvenile court system and assigned a CASA volunteer. The program helps remove financial barriers so young adults can pursue educational, vocational, and independent living goals that support long-term success.
Who Qualifies?
Youth ages 16–21 who have been involved in the juvenile court system and assigned a CASA volunteer advocate.*
What Can Be Funded?
Educational expenses, vocational training, certification programs, transportation, work-related supplies, housing support, and other approved needs that promote independence.

To provide opportunities that help young adults build confidence, gain stability, and successfully transition into adulthood.

What This Grant Does
Advocacy lays the foundation, but some young adults need additional support to reach their goals. The Empowerment Grant helps remove financial barriers, opening doors to education, employment, and independent living.
