Ways to Support CASA

Planned Giving

Leave a Legacy of Hope

A planned gift today can help ensure children have an advocate for generations to come.

Your Legacy Can Change a Child's Future

Choosing to include CASA of DuPage County in your estate plans is a meaningful way to create lasting change for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. We would be honored to be part of your legacy and grateful for your commitment to ensuring future generations of children have a dedicated advocate by their side.

Whether through a bequest, retirement account, stock gift, donor-advised fund, or qualified charitable distribution, your generosity helps sustain CASA's mission for years to come.

Because every planned gift is unique, we encourage you to consult with your financial advisor or attorney as you consider your giving options.

Planned Giving Options

  • Bequests Through Your Will

A bequest to CASA of DuPage is one of the simplest and most effective ways of making a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children. You may specify the amount or a percentage you wish to give.

  • Retirement Accounts

You can have a positive impact on children into the future by naming CASA of DuPage County as a beneficiary or a contingent beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or other retirement accounts.

  • Qualified Charitable Distribution

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70 1/2 years old or older to donate up to $100,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions. Qualified charitable distributions are made directly to the eligible charity from an IRA. As a result, donors may avoid being pushed into higher income tax brackets.

Please consult your financial planner or attorney regarding considerations when making a gift of this type.
