CASA Advocates serve children and young adults aged 0 to 21 who are experiencing the juvenile court system due to abuse and neglect. Though CASA is a national organization, programs are set up by county. DuPage County proudly provides every abused, neglected and dependent child with a CASA Advocate. This is a testament to our strong community; in Illinois, only 43% of children in juvenile court have an advocate.
Our Children Deserve A Bright Future
The children we serve are sweet, strong, funny, active, intelligent, creative, thoughtful and amazing. They are experiencing the DuPage County court system by no fault of their own. Some have endured abuse, some have been neglected, and others have no one to care for them. We stand as their advocates and fight to have their best interest at the forefront of every decision made on their behalf. The children we serve deserve a future full of health, happiness and hope.
Former Foster Youth
As a foster child you don't know the face of consistency - because everything is always changing. My CASA Volunteer was the only thing that didn't change... She was the only consistent face I saw and she remains my life to this day.
