Other Ways to Help
Board of Directors
CASA of DuPage County board members are volunteers from the community who believe powerless children need powerful friends. Primarily a fundraising board, the Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the viability of the agency, fundraising and governance. Board members are elected to 2-year terms, with three terms being the longest a member can stay on board. Meetings are held six times a year and new board members can be elected at any point during the year. Contact Lisa Drake, Executive Director, or call 630-221-0889, ext. 305 to learn more about board membership.
Do you like to contribute to a good cause while meeting new people and having a great time? If so, then consider joining one of CASA of DuPage County’s two event committees. The Golf Committee convenes in February to put together the spring Golf Outing and the Gala Committee begins working in August to plan and execute the annual fall Gala. These two events are very important as they generate more than 40% of CASA of DuPage County’s annual revenue. For more information about these opportunities, contact Beth Stremel or call 630-221-0889, ext. 304.
CASA of DuPage County hosts a Golf Outing in the spring and a Gala in the fall as part of its annual fundraising efforts. Over 500 members of the community attend the two events and sponsorships are a great way to support a worthy cause while increasing your visibility. For as little as $150 up to $10,000, you can partner with CASA of DuPage County as a “Powerful Friend to Powerless Children” to help execute one or both of these premier events. To take advantage of this wonderful way to give back while highlighting your business contact Beth Stremel or call 630-221-0889, ext. 304.
